In 1964 Byer California opened for business in a 7,000 sq. ft. loft on Minna St. in downtown San Francisco. Today, over 50 years later, we have grown into a major source of Junior, Misses and Girls fashions for National and Regional Department Stores, Specialty Stores and Online Retailers.  

Still headquartered in San Francisco with offices in Los Angeles, New York and Hong Kong, our company has evolved into a multi-brand design, marketing and manufacturing company.  In 2015 Byer California was recognized as the Supplier of the Year by one of the largest National retailers, and in 2016 was ranked #3 in retail sales generated by Branded product in Department Stores and National Chain Stores.

We also supply Private Label product to National and Regional Retail partners and have established protocols that exceed accepted standards for testing, compliance and sustainability.
